I have AFE air filter and Gibson cat-back but the I-1000 tuner is the only performance device which provided a noticeable performance boost. A change that you can actually feel in driving and accelerating. The only issue is that right angle OBD-II plug which comes with the unit, does not fit the connector in my Ranger. I had to buy a straight angle cable extension.

Shopped around for months before buying. Had all the specs I wanted for a fair price. Purchased it mainly for fuel economy. Definitely makes a big difference in the shift points. Wants to get into 5th gear as soon as it can, but still allows you to step on it when you need to and has no problem hauling heavy loads. Overall mpg boost was not major, but mainly to do with gas and driving style.
