Range Active Fuel Management Disable Device Reviews

Works as described so far

Reviewed By Mark H (Mableton, GA) Reviewed for a 2007 GMC Yukon —9/26/2016 4:30 AM

No issues. Simply plug the device into the OBD2 port. A few light flashes then it's done. According to the display the vehicle is in V8 mode all the time. Have not used it long enough to know impact on fuel or oil consumption. Oil consumption is the reason I decided to try this.

Amazing, Inexpensive Real Power!

Reviewed By Robert L R (VALLEY, NE) Reviewed for a 2000 GMC Yukon —2/12/2016 9:15 AM

This is by far the first, best upgrade I've made to my Denali! Fairly easily installed (no thanks to GMC) and my 5.7 Vortec started right up with no codes. I experienced immediate increases in throttle response and overall power and drivability. Unbelievably, after a week or so of driving the vehicle, the power and responsiveness approved again! Puts me in mind of the old EPROM chips. I highly recommend this product to anyone looking for low dollar extra horses and low-end torque !

ScanGauge OBD II Scanner Reviews

Scan Gauge

Installation in my '06 Tacoma wasn't a "no brainer" despite the fact it's a plug and play scanner. I made a slot for it in one of my "cubby holes" using a sheet of 1/16" ABP plastic. Still learning everything that the scanner will do but am pleased so far.
