Mo Go - but a little more fuel cost

Reviewed By Thomas M (Carbondale, CO) Reviewed for a 2001 GMC C/K 3500 —7/2/2010 8:18 AM

Slam dunk to install. Had to remove 2 fuses but down loaded with no problems. Tuned to "regular" gas in an 8.1 GMC and had some ping but called in and the regular setting is set for 87 octane and I had 85 so bought some octane booster and solved that problem. Later fueled with 1/2 premium and 1/2 85 and so far no problems. Power gain is noticable, especially in mid range. A little dissapointed in the 87 octane setting as I was after performance gain as well as cost and ended up costing about a dime more per gallon for the 87. Haven't run enought to notice any fuel milage gain at this point and it is hard to keep your foot away from the firewall so we'll see if the additional performance is worth a dime/gallon. At this point I would recommend the programmer, however.

Jet Performance Programmer Reviews

good value

Reviewed By Bob L (Lewiston, ID) Reviewed for a 2000 Ford F-150 —9/9/2015 8:51 PM

I had used the chip prior, added the programmer and it woke the truck up, quicker, more torque. The chip steadied the PCM at a higher performance level allowing the programmer to boost the output to a higher level than just the chip or programmer alone. Purchased each from AutoAnything and had great experience receiving the items quick, exactly what ordered. Would purchase Jet products again. Tried EDGE and had to keep adjusting the settings to stay in tune where JET has remained in tune.

Jet Performance Module Reviews

Reviewed By Peter J (TUSCALOOSA, AL) Reviewed for a 1997 Dodge Ram —9/6/2015 8:46 AM

I have been running the Jet on my '97 Dodge Ram with 5.9l. I had previously added a Holley TB, Venom Injectors, Spectre CAI, Accel coil, Gibson shorties with Flowmaster, and some new oxygen sensors. Called Jet, and they could not recommend the installation. Works great however, best with premium, but I have run 89 octane without pinging. Stoker!
