I-1000 Tuner did what I wanted it to do

I have a 2010 GMC V8 Canyon. I wanted firmer transmission shifts and a little more power. I have received both with only the 87 octane tune.

Setup was fairly easy. CD video was not up to date with Website. But other than that 45 min install with 91 Tune. Change rev limit and fans kick on quicker which keeps car running much cooler. 200-208. Came with 91 Per. & 93 Per. Lots of custom gauge layouts which was great including shift light. Overall great product for monitoring car and future performance upgrades. Revs much quicker and I do feel hp gain.

Edge Insight CTS2 Monitor Reviews

Nice, but not perfect.

Reviewed By Jeff S (LONGMONT, CO) Reviewed for a 2008 Dodge Ram —7/9/2015 8:56 PM

My main concern is monitoring my truck while pulling up to 14k lbs. I like to monitor engine coolant, transmission fluid and the regen system. I bought mine to replace an MSD Dashhawk. The DH has a small display but a large number of variables that could be displayed. I would display 4 variables at one time, at most. By comparison, the Insight CTS2 can easily display up to 9 variables at a time. Unfortunately, it is limited in the available variables by comparison, regen specifically.
