Maintenance Man

Reviewed By Eugene H (GREEN BAY, WI) Reviewed for a 2007 GMC Envoy —11/11/2015 6:24 PM

My 2007 Envoy was using about a quart of oil every one thousand miles if a majority of those miles was highway it seemed to use even more oil. I have put on about 700 miles after installing the chip and the dipstick reading shows no oil use so far. Also noticed the rpms at highway speeds run about 200 lower than with the active fuel management putting engine down to 4 cylinders. Noticeable power increase and computer miles per gallon readings have gone up a little.

Woke up my 2013 Sierra

Reviewed By Timothy O (DAYTON, TX) Reviewed for a 2013 GMC Sierra —3/12/2016 4:39 AM

Have a 2013 Sierra crew cab 4x4, it ran good but with the Superchips programmer it now runs great! When I step on it the truck almost jumps. Maybe a slight boost in MPG. Highly recommend if you're looking for a performance boost.

New life for an older truck

Reviewed By william s (WINSTED, CT) Reviewed for a 2004 Chevy Silverado —5/22/2016 5:38 AM

I bought a new rv last year, and was unhappy with the trucks pulling performance....so i did some research, and found a tuner would do the job....i did not need all the bells and whistles..just something to change the timing and shift points....this unit was just the ticket....and it was on sale.... cant beat that....have set it to tow mode and it made a big difference....i live in new england (lots of hills)..and no more overreving to pull them...my truck works within its power band .
