"great easy to load very few steps it works greaaaaaaat." —Ron C from Coalinga, CA bought a Hypertech Max Energy Programmer for a 2006 GMC Sierra.
"I really like the power options but I really liked that you can read TCB's and clear them. That is a great new feature. I was also surprised to find how much you can control an automatic transmision. You can control more than just the shift firmness like the previous Hypertech Tuners, you can control the shift points between each gear. I found that raising the shift point a little from 3-4 keeps my truck from shifting into overdrive to soon and lugging. Being able to correct for larger tires is also great. This a very handy tool that has more purposes than you might think you would use." —Kyle H from Oregon City, OR bought a Hypertech Max Energy Programmer for a 2006 GMC Sierra.
"I have only ran a few tanks of gas with it, through my 2006 GMC Sierra 2500HD 6.o. I didn't notice a lot of power b/c i didn't change my shift points. if you push the tow/haul button it already does and HOLY COWS! this thing screams now. Above 30-40mph it keeps pulling, and pulling faster and faster! I can't wait to get my Injien intake and corsa exhaust. I also get another 20-30 miles on a tank of gas. I haven't tried running with premium fuel either yet." —Chris S from Holland, MI bought a Hypertech Max Energy Programmer for a 2006 GMC Sierra.
"I have an '06 Sierra ext cab long bed. On average around 14 mpg in mixed driving. My wife calls it the grandpa truck because her trailblazer has more power. Had some trouble finding a power supply-recommend using an inline fuse and installing under the dash (firewall holes are a pain and about 50 fuses to test for instillation). Plugged it in and WOW, what a huge difference even on tame setting, could feel it backing out for the test drive. Added Spectre cold air and got about 1.5mpg (10% on mixed driving). Driving coach helps keep it under control, but deceleration gauge a little unrealistic for a 7000lb truck. Overall a good buy, will experiment with the settings for added MPG's and power." —Keith E from New Haven, IN bought a Bully Dog Triple Dog GT Tuner (49-State Legal) for a 2006 GMC Sierra.
"The little bit extra power and the adjustment of the shift points helped in towing (7500lbs trailer)up 6-7% grade) that I previously had some problems with. Very little fuel milage increase noticed in tow mode and am now testing XS milage to see if it will help with fuel economy." —Shane N from Wright, WY bought a Superchips Flashpaq Tuner for a 2006 GMC Sierra.
"Works good, small but really is all you need" —Derek C from Perkinston, MS bought a Bully Dog Triple Dog GT Tuner (49-State Legal) for a 2006 GMC Sierra.
"Looks like a quality product. Easy to use for factory settings but I could use help with changing settings for better fuel and power settings. You should have some examples of what to change. I don't want damage anything buy randomly changing things." —Ronald D from Martinsburg, WV bought a Hypertech Max Energy Programmer for a 2006 GMC Sierra.
"Did exactly what it said. I love it. Speedometer is dead on. Great tuner" —Richard S from Edenton, NC bought a Hypertech Max Energy Programmer for a 2006 GMC Sierra.
