Superchips Cortex Programmer Reviews

Incredible Programmer

Reviewed By Christopher T (Charleston, WV) Reviewed for a 2007 GMC Yukon XL —8/10/2011 6:36 AM

I added new tires and rims to my Yukon XL. It was driving awful until I used the Cortex Programmer. It allowed me to set tire height and choose the 87 Octane tuner as well. I took the speed limiter off too. It shifts smooth and gets better gas mileage than it did before I put the larger tires on. It has much more power and really drives much better. Thank you Autoanything and Superchips. Without it, I would have went broke putting gas in the vehicle or would have had to sell the new rims and tires.

Hypertech fixes my 35 in. tires and speedometer

Reviewed By Richard B (Thatcher, AZ) Reviewed for a 2007 GMC Yukon XL —12/1/2009 12:55 PM

Easy to use and easy to install. This item did exactly what it said. I purchaed my '09 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon with oversized tires (35 in. dia.) and from the dealer, the speedometer was way off and I was buring all sorts of fuel. After the reprogram, it was great. Gas was pretty good and the speedometer was right. Too bad the dealer (Chapman Jeep in Scottsdale, AZ) did not opt to correct, even though the item was purchased as they designed from the lot! All well, Hypertech took care of the problem at a reasonable price. One drawback, error codes must be called on and tech support is only open M-F (banker hours). If you purchased on the weekend, well, you just have to wait because the codes are not easily found...even online.

So easy!

Literally pulled it out of the package and plugged into the ECU. Took 5 seconds and its working. After experiencing what detrimental effects AFM has on a vehicle, this was a no brainer!
