Hypertech Max Energy Programmer for 2008 H3 Hummer 3.7L

Reviewed By Shawn J (CLOVIS, CA) Reviewed for a 2008 Hummer H3 —8/13/2014 11:57 PM

I wanted something that I could program myself instead of sending of my PMC to someone eles to program. I was able to change my tire size to compensate for the 33in tire I installed, also was able to change my shift point and shift firmness as well. It also came with two performance setting, an 87 and a 91 octane. I used the 87 octane in my 3.7 liter and I got a boost in performance and mileage as well. Which made me very happy.

best increase for performance for the $

Reviewed By Terry S (Rochester, NY) Reviewed for a 2009 Hummer H3 —11/2/2009 11:13 AM

The ease of the installation is hard to believe. Then you start up your car , and away you go. The instant I took off in my hummer I had a huge smile on my face. I then took my daughter for a ride and watched her face as I gave my truck somme juice---and she said " dad what did you do to "Jake" [my trucks name} "? I told her about your programer, she said " AWESOME" !

Life with all the dull bits cut out

Reviewed By Thomas Y (Saint Louis, MO) Reviewed for a 2006 Chrysler 300 —8/28/2016 11:22 AM

This is how Chrysler should have had my car programmed at the factory. I have a Borla performance exhaust system and am using the factory CAI (cold air intake) with the stock paper air filter. The Diablo setup I'm using is their 91-Octane factory tune, with raised shift points (6000 rpm as opposed to the stock 5800 rpm), increased shift firmness, and autostick auto upshift mode 1. My fuel economy has increased, which more than offsets the slight extra cost of having to use premium gas.
