Hypertech Max Energy Programmer Reviews

nice upgrade for a 3.7 jeep!

Reviewed By Steven W (Rensselaer, NY) Reviewed for a 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee —10/31/2016 2:10 PM

I bought this for my 06 jeep grand cherokee with the 3.7 V6. it has a 2 in lift and bigger tires (31's, i didnt want to go too big since its my daily). i bought the programmer mainly for tire size calibration for my speedometer, but i was pleasantly surprised by the performance increase from the tunes. great power increase across the RPM range, throttle response is instant (i also have an injen cold air intake), its no race car but its a nice addition. MPG's increased also. only con is price

2007 Jeep Wk Lifted

Reviewed By Eddie C (NEWPORT, NC) Reviewed for a 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee —3/20/2015 8:16 PM

Does the job as advertised. Recently lifted my jeep and put 31" tires on. Prior to installing the calibrator, the speedometer was off 7 mph. When reading 55 on speedometer, GPS showed me going 62. After calibrator installed, speedometer is dead on with GPS speed tracking. Would definitely recommend and may upgrade to the max energy software.

Not sure, but I'm happy

Reviewed By Tony C (Carolina, PR) Reviewed for a 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee —2/26/2015 1:38 PM

I hated the pick up on my 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland, and can attest that after I plugged in the Tuner I definitely felt much more "pep" when I step on the gas. However, my MPG has gone to crap. I think on highway I do get better mileage now, but in city I get worse, and I drive mostly in the city. Someone who puts mostly highway miles should see an improvement. Either way, it made me much happier to drive my car, and that is worth the 300 bucks to me.
