"Same product was installed in my vehicle (Jeep GC Ltd, 5.7L Hemi) along with some other aftermarket performance enhancers when purchased... *Warning* It is "Extremely" important to note, that installation is made with a tight secure seal! Bad things will happen if water manages to leak into a loose connection. This time around I used electrical tape as a second measure. Disappointed I haven't received any boost in performance however, my MPG (Mostly HWY) has increased by roughly 12%." —Richard P from Glendale , AZ bought a Jet Performance Module for a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
"What an easy install & great bang for the buck. I had a Jet module in my last Jeep and loved it - even the shop mechanics noted how much improvement my Grand Cherokee had. Now with the new Jeep it gives the same kick but is even easier to install - great directions - great performance increase. Gas mileage seems the same - but that's probably because I enjoy getting into it so much more! That lag in the low RPM's is gone and it's a consistent push through the whole rev range! The Jet PM & the K&M air filter is a huge performance improvement over the stock 4.7 Well worth the money." —Steve B from Ponte Vedra Beach, FL bought a Jet Performance Module for a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
"My Jeep/Hemi has been back to the dealer six times for poor performance/lousy gas mileage. Software was updated with little improvement. The module has made it run better enough to keep this sorry car a little longer." —Fred H from Bulverde, TX bought a Jet Performance Module for a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
"As with most aftermarket applications for this particular vehicle, I was skeptical. I received the part quickly from AutoAnything (you guys are great), and installed it in about five minutes. Reconnected the battery, fired it up and...... oh yeah! She's awake now. Coupled with my Series 77 K&N intake, NGK Iridium plugs(never use Bosch, trust me) and 89 octane fuel, the thing is ready for just about anything. My city mileage got about a mile or so better per gallon, but the beauty is in the takeoff, acceleration and interstate cruising and mpg. The chip doesn't neccessarily turn your WK into a racecar, but you will definitely notice a difference that in my opinion, is worth the $200. Thanks for reading my review." —Adrian P from Clarksville, TN bought a Jet Performance Module for a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee, 4.7L V8.
"After putting in a system and 22" rims my mileage and performace was horrible. i decided to try out this jet chip to work with my exhaust and k&n intake.
Currently use 89octane fuel which is midgrade here and didnt need the thermostat.
Amazing difference it made. it has its kick back and the mileage actually went up 2 mpg for me. im defintaly sticking with this website and jet products for any of my cars.
Thanks AutoAnything," —Patryk G from Chicago, IL bought a Jet Performance Module for a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee, 4.7L V8.
"well, it does what it says it will do...the hemi runs smoother, all the while I get about 1-2 mpg better if I can stay out of the throttle, and when I do dump it, it does get up, I just wish they would disable the rev limiter and speed governer...money well spent
btw, spoke with the factory this module cannot be "learned around" by the stock computer as could happen with older chips...I had so wanted Mopar to come out with thier hi-po computer first, but as it happens, they didn't this is a very good substitute - 4 stars" —David K from Pottstown, PA bought a Jet Performance Module for a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
"Installed this in a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee with a 5.7 Hemi. Initially I thought it was only a very minor improvement but recently I had to take the chip out because I thought it was causing an issue (it wasn't). I noticed the difference straight away and when re-installed it was like "ahhhh, she's back". Feels better at the low end and gear shifts feel smoother. Nice easy performance increase and well worth the money." —Rick P from Leawood, KS bought a Jet Performance Module for a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
"Worth the money for the fuel savings alone.( If you can keep your foot off the pedal) Installation took approx. 25 minutes. Gained 2-3.5 mpg on fuel mileage on the highway and 2 around town. Noticable gain in power also." —Jeffery T from Whiteford, MD bought a Jet Performance Module for a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee, 5.7L Hemi.
"I have a 2005 Jeep GC with the 3.7L V6. I have a K&N CAI and a Flowmaster super 44 cat-back exhaust. So i bought the JET module hoping to get more HP and fuel economy. I was iffy on if this chip would perform due to mixed reviews, and not many about the stage 2..
-It works great!! Easy to install (watch the youtube video, its a generic video and helps a lot!) I still have not bought and installed the 180 deg thermostat which is recomended. I have been using the 93 octane gas.
-I have increased economy(when Im light on the throttle)
**a good 16 city and 26 highway**
-Increased throttle response JUMPS from 20-60+
-The chip makes it easier on the engine with low revs. At idle its about .5-.75 grand. I used to rev a steady 2.5+ grand when going 70mph but now its just below 2.25 grand revs.
-Great value overall. only paid 200 with autoanythings deals they always run and plus free shipping. LOVE AUTOANYTHING." —James K from Benbrook, TX bought a Jet Performance Module for a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee, 3.7L V6.
