Although most reviews and feedback from "experts" in the field indicated I would improve MPG by only 0.5 - 1 mpg, I have experienced a 1.5 - 2 mpg improvement. I drive at an elevation of 5000-6000 ft and use 85 octane fuel. Coupled with the stock replacement K&N air filter (not the entire air intake kit), this programmer has taken my jeep from 15 mpg to an average of 18 mpg. I would recommend this programmer; it will pay for itself within a year or two.
