My special little Jeep Cherokee

I installed the Flashpaq Tuner and immediately went for the performance tuning, It was a blast however with the price of gas over $5 I decided to go for the economy mode for now. I have not run thru a complete tank yet so don't know what the mileage is yet. Also I have not been on the hiway yet.

Programer came with wrong software but acouple of calls to Hypertech I down loaded correct software. Tech stayed on the line to make sure it worked right incase of any problems. Installed very easy and corrected my tire size change and inproved my mileage. Performance wise WOW, what a differance! Pulls alot better on hills, loaded or not. Shifts the way it's suppost to now as well. This and the other upgrades I made are well worth the investment!

Not as advertised

Reviewed By patrick f (Bristow, VA) Reviewed for a 1996 Jeep Cherokee —7/2/2010 7:20 AM

Great product but not recommended for the layman. If your not familiar with tuning a vehicle before hand then adv do your research. Hypertech was not forthcoming about what the product can and can't do for the vehicle as well i.e. does not work with certain after market mods.I had installed a bigger throttle body which caused the engine to go into a lean mode after using hypertech tune ( not matter how hard I tried I couldn't resolve issue without falling back to default stock mode). So if you have a stock engine with no mods ( other than a cai or cat back ) then your clear.
