2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee

This is a must have if you want to give new life to your Jeep. Installation was a little more involved since you had to remove the ECU to install the chip. Added at leat 1 mpg, may not be much but in the long run it will pay off. It also smoothed out the idle. I have also installed a K&N cold air intake and a magnaflow muffler the combined modification, is phenominal! Increase torque and horses thru out the the RPM, ease of passing when on the free way. Magnaflow exhaust installed is pretty mellow and not too loud, especially when you open it up. The K&N cold air intake was louder than the magnaflow. It feels like driving a new jeep after the mods. Keep your lead feet off the gas pedal and you will see improvements in MPG.

I bought this for my 06 jeep grand cherokee with the 3.7 V6. it has a 2 in lift and bigger tires (31's, i didnt want to go too big since its my daily). i bought the programmer mainly for tire size calibration for my speedometer, but i was pleasantly surprised by the performance increase from the tunes. great power increase across the RPM range, throttle response is instant (i also have an injen cold air intake), its no race car but its a nice addition. MPG's increased also. only con is price

Best Programmer Ever!!!!!!

Reviewed By JOHN R (Lamoille, NV) Reviewed for a 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee —6/9/2016 5:37 PM

I recently purchased the 2006 jeep used with 123,000 miles. I was getting 14.5 MPG. TERRIBLE!!So I looked into chips and decided on the Traildash2. I was I little concerned about about the price of $499.00. Despite my concerns I went ahead and bought it anyway. The down loading and programming process is a little challenging but after a number of phone calls to Superchips I got it all done. I am now getting 22 MPG around town. It also fixed my inaccurate speedometer.I couldn't be more pleased!
