Banks Automind programmer

I was very skeptical about any real change in power or mileage claims. The recommended setting by Banks was the sport setting. I tried it as my first option and I'm happily surprised with the results. Noticeably more power and mileage right away.

It works

I installed the tuner on my '05 Jeep Wrangler using the mileage option. I can't tell any difference in performance, but I did gain 3 MPG. I started at 15 MPG and now I get 18 MPG. That is a 20% improvement.

TD@ in 2008 Rubicon

Reviewed By Michael H (Bothell, WA) Reviewed for a 2008 Jeep Wrangler —8/7/2017 9:26 PM

Does a lot of cool things, Was a little disappointed that it has no control of the Rubicon sway bar disconnect, as some reviews state. It will turn off the warning light it the user has bypassed it in some other manner. In addition, locker control seems to be there in 2wd and 4 hi also, but in mine, I have to be stopped to engage the lockers with the td2. The switch allows locking while moving, but only in 4low. I have had the td2 lock up a few times and require a power cycle to reset.
