Hypertech Max Energy Programmer Reviews

Hyperteck Max Energy

Reviewed By Robert H (Dublin, GA) Reviewed for a 2007 Lincoln Town Car —4/27/2012 2:02 PM

Once I got the right program into my Hypertech it worked like a charm. I took the GForce chip out that I had previous put in, ran the car for a few minutes with it out, shut the car off and plugged in the programmmer and started. It walked me right through the steps one by one and I was done in a few minutes. It is definately a well made product, works just like it is supposed too, and I am well satisfied. Thank you Gary for helping me with reprogramming my Hypertech for my 2007 Lincoln Town Car.

It's cool tuning your engine

Reviewed By Matty F (NEWTOWN, CT) Reviewed for a 2009 Chevy Silverado —3/4/2015 2:56 PM

I used the 87 Octane tune, shut off AFM, and set the tranny to Firm setting. Everything worked as set. I found that the shifting from first to second was a little harsh so I emailed Mike at Diablotiune and he set me up with a custom tune for the tranyy. Great customer service!

Hypertech Max Energy E-CON Reviews

Pleased with the Hypertech ECON

Reviewed By Robert T (Vidor, TX) Reviewed for a 2011 Ford Expedition —8/29/2013 8:04 AM

I was very pleased with the E-CON. I installed it on my wife's 2011 Expedition. I wasn't concerned about the 40 extra horses, but bought it to improve my mileage. I checked the mileage on several trips without it and then with it. By the vehicles mileage indicator, at 70 mph on cruise, I got a 2 mph increase, from 20 to 22mpg. What surprise me was at 75, the mileage went from 18 to 21.5mpg. If you put the pencil to it, the E-CON will pay for itself within 10,000 highway miles.
