Engine Idle problem

Reviewed By Buddy W (Bryan, TX) Reviewed for a 2004 Dodge Ram —11/23/2014 9:16 AM

Occasionally the engine will fast idle to approximately 1200 RPM's when I crank the truck engine. don't always do this, but just on occasions and it don't make any difference if the engine is already hot or if it is cold. I have never had a Flashpaq Tuner do this before on a truck. The setting selected was "tow performance".

2004 Silverado Performance module install

Reviewed By Charles L (NEW ALBANY, IN) Reviewed for a 2004 Chevy Silverado —11/20/2014 3:45 AM

The module arrived and was packaged well and in good shape. Not as easily installed as I thought it would be. Sure it is plug and play, but the original wiring harness had a couple of ridges or raised slots that helped in the alignment of the harness into the original ECU. The male side of the module has those ridges, so aligning the module on the original ECU was easy. The femaale side of the module does not have the raised slots, so care must be taken to ensure all is aligned as it should be.
