Improved milage but when I had to go back to stock the milage stayed the same . Point is I am not sure if it did anthing . The one thing I will say is it keeps trans in gear loanger before shifting . Overall 3 stars .

Does what it says

2014 GMC Sierra 1500. Fairly easy installation. Manual days you need to remove several fuses, but this is not necessary. Just make sure headlights are off, radio is off, and nothing is plugged into DC outlets. Did what it said!

Pleased with the Hypertech ECON

Reviewed By Robert T (Vidor, TX) Reviewed for a 2011 Ford Expedition —8/29/2013 8:04 AM

I was very pleased with the E-CON. I installed it on my wife's 2011 Expedition. I wasn't concerned about the 40 extra horses, but bought it to improve my mileage. I checked the mileage on several trips without it and then with it. By the vehicles mileage indicator, at 70 mph on cruise, I got a 2 mph increase, from 20 to 22mpg. What surprise me was at 75, the mileage went from 18 to 21.5mpg. If you put the pencil to it, the E-CON will pay for itself within 10,000 highway miles.
