Hypertech Max Energy Sport Programmer Reviews

The Hypertech tuner is easy to use, but not all the options were available during programing. The 350Z is stored during the winter, but I did have one nice day to try out the new tune and make sure the car was running right. The throttle response is sharper and the car does seem to be a little quicker, but I won't know just how much improvement there is until spring. I was impressed with testing of the product that Hypertech does and is one of the reasons I bought the tuner.

Not much help

Reviewed By Gary Lowell A (Chesterfield, VA) Reviewed for a 2005 Nissan 350Z —5/25/2013 7:14 AM

Actually I had the cold air intake and this chip installed at the same time. According to advertising, I should be getting about 4 gallon better MPG and 35-45 hp increase with both systems installed. I have had maybe a slight increase in MPG and a noticable but undetermined increase in HP. While it is impossible to differenciate between the performance effect of the intake and the chip, I suspect the two systems compliment each other. I am satisfied with the purchases and would do it again.

2013 tundra 0-60 4.8seconds

Installed with Volant cold air intake and throttle body spacer with TRD dual exhaust system.Took me about an hour to instal. The hardest part was going behind fire wall and under the front axle. Took my time to make sure wires were in a safe location and position before connecting the plugs. Right of the bat I could feel the difference and RPM held strong from 3000 to 5000 rpm. Went 0 to 60 mph in under 5 seconds and could hear my engine come a live when gassing. Probably not got for myMPG
