Bully Dog Triple Dog GT Gas Tuner Gauge for my 370z

Reviewed By Michael R (TEMPE, AZ) Reviewed for a 2009 Nissan 370Z —10/18/2012 9:10 PM

Installation was the easiest part. Took me about 20 minutes or so to read through the manual and an additional 20 for proper install. The hardest part is understanding EVERYTHING that this unit does. Be sure to read the manual thoroughly prior to install. It's roughly 80 pages but a lot of pictures and how to diagrams. Totally worth the value. My Z zips and is responsive as its ever been after I tuned it to the Performance setting.

Hyper-Okay.

The Hypertech tuner is easy to use, but not all the options were available during programing. The 350Z is stored during the winter, but I did have one nice day to try out the new tune and make sure the car was running right. The throttle response is sharper and the car does seem to be a little quicker, but I won't know just how much improvement there is until spring. I was impressed with testing of the product that Hypertech does and is one of the reasons I bought the tuner.

good product

Downloading the program from personal computer to the tuner was a little complicated, but the set up in the vehicle was easy. It does make a difference in performance, at least with shift points and acceleration are smoother in performance mode, which could be less desirable if you prefer the harder feel of acceleration pushing you back in your seat with a stock G37. Upper end torque is increased, giving more passing power at higher speeds. Overall it's a good product
