Hypertech Max Energy Programmer Reviews

Hypertech for Armada

Reviewed By damian z (Mesa, AZ) Reviewed for a 2006 Nissan Armada —8/28/2008 9:03 PM

Ordered the unit on Saturday and had it Tuesday! Attempted to install which took over 40 minutes only to find out it needs to be updated which took 3 days. Then I learn that tech support works East coast hours which is bad for us on the West coast. It wasn't until the following Monday that I was able to finally get the unit to install which took about 3 minutes. Acceleration off the line improved, shifting at redline improved, but I haven't noticed any fuel economy improvements.

Bully Dog for Maxima

I have installed this tuner. I am not using the mount, just the tune. I have Borla exhaust and K&N intake. I really haven't been able to tell the hp increase. If I can figure out how, I might try to order the custom tune.

asEasy install. screen size is perfect and easy to read. You do have to buy the EGT probe to monitor EGT on duramax if you are straight piped.
