Pretty decent tuner (Nissan Armada)

Reviewed By Jeff C (Cary, NC) Reviewed for a 2004 Nissan Armada —8/22/2011 6:19 AM

The Flashpaq is pretty easy to use and is solidly built with a dirt-simple interface. The performance tune is excellent and will have your car racing off the line. For the Armada model, there are some drawbacks such as the inability to accommodate hard additions like CAI's and headers, etc. Despite this annoyance, I think that the Flashpaq is very easy to use and a great performance enhancer.

Hypertech for Armada

Reviewed By damian z (Mesa, AZ) Reviewed for a 2006 Nissan Armada —8/28/2008 9:03 PM

Ordered the unit on Saturday and had it Tuesday! Attempted to install which took over 40 minutes only to find out it needs to be updated which took 3 days. Then I learn that tech support works East coast hours which is bad for us on the West coast. It wasn't until the following Monday that I was able to finally get the unit to install which took about 3 minutes. Acceleration off the line improved, shifting at redline improved, but I haven't noticed any fuel economy improvements.

Needs work on the gauges

Reviewed By Kade M (SHIPSHEWANA, IN) Reviewed for a 2009 Chevy Silverado —9/14/2015 8:45 PM

I don't like the big screen on the speed gauge. It needs options on what you want to see, not a graph that tracks your speed for the last .25 miles. Other than that this thing is worth it! Power increased tremendously! Highway mpg went from 11.6 to 15.3. ( my truck has a 7" lift and 35's) you really have to mess with it if you want your actual speed display accurate. When I put in 35s and the gear ratio it was 10 mph faster that what I was going. So that can also b tweeked. Worth the price!!!!!!
