Hypertech Programmer

2008 GMC Canyon 3.7. I noticed a little difference in power and a difference in torque. Biggest difference was mpg. I drive 50/50 city/hwy to work everyday. First tank of gas I got a 1.7mpg better mileage than I did before and my first quarter of a tank I couldnt keep my foot off the accelerator. I tested the top speed limiter a few times and still got better mileage. Its also been in the high 90's in CO and I've had the A/C on. Can't wait to see what I get for mpg when I keep my foot off the gas. Everyone needs one of these. I also have kn 63series intake, cat back exhaust, Jet MAF Sensor, Poweraid TB spacer and am running on 31x10.50r 15 BFG All Terrain t/a's.

2007 F-250 PSD 6.0 FX4 CC, SB, MT

Overall I like this product very much and definitely would recommend! There are many PIDs to monitor to ensure your vehicle is running and performing up to par without the jet fighter cockpit look. I installed the CTS with ease and added an expandable EGT probe to monitor my EGTs also. EGT probe installation went smoothly (instruction manual is a generic multi product guide but easy to follow once you find the small paragraph). I would like to purchase a backup camera but the CTS currently only works for Automatic Transmissions. For the money, this is alot cheaper and easier to install vice gauges.

Bully Dog WatchDog Fuel Economy Monitor Reviews

Works as advertised.

Reviewed By Richard B (Minot, ND) Reviewed for a 2003 Ford Explorer —4/14/2012 3:58 PM

Cant hate it too much but when I got it one of the "capacitor touch buttons" required more than a touch, now it seems to work just fine. Its a fuel economy monitor, not much else to say about it. I did just get back from a roadtrip and found out for sure that drafting behind semi's does save fuel...4-5 gpm-ish. Id like this more if it wasnt so expensive but hey, its a cool gadget.
