Blue Light Special

Reviewed By James P (Coweta, OK) Reviewed for a 2007 Pontiac Grand Prix —3/23/2015 6:34 AM

Installed in a 2007 Pontiac Grand Prix GXP daily driver. I have driven for a little over two weeks, 750 miles and two tanks of gas. So far so good. The Range AFMDD performs as advertised. No more stuttering and stammering of the AFM and collapsing lifters. I don't usually drive the car on weekends. No noticeable battery discharge. Gas mileage has not changed much. Maybe 3/10ths of a mile per gallon. I expect the oil consumption to virtually stop as well. Time will tell.

Worth it for towing

Reviewed By Michael Z (Wolcott, CT) Reviewed for a 2011 Chevy Silverado —4/9/2015 6:04 AM

I saw the reviews for the I-1000 and decided to give it a try. I saw a small difference in the 87 tune so I decided to try the 93 (Diablo tune). That made a big difference. I'm now able to climb hills in 5th where the truck used to downshift to 4th to climb the same hills. And by climbing I mean actually accelerating in 5th while climbing those hills. have also seen a 2 mpg increase. I'm going to have a personal tune done as soon as I can come up with the cash. Well worth the investment..
