Hypertech Max Energy Programmer Reviews

Performance plus!

Reviewed By David W (Edneyville, NC) Reviewed for a 2008 Saturn Sky —4/1/2011 2:45 AM

I installed the Max Energy Programer on my 2006 Chevy P/U - I have the "B" motor, the 5.3L HO and had already installed an S&B cold air box, Jegs Mass air flow sensor, performance single exhaust and 4:10 gears. Installation was a breeze and took aboiut 10 minutes. The truck was already a great performer and the improvement was immediate. I had firmed up the transmission shifts 50%, and set it up for regular gas. Acceleration improvement was crisp, over and above from what the truck already was and shifts were firm but not harsh. Fuel economy went from 17 MPG to 18.9 MPG average at freeway speeds of 65 MPH. Truck is now very much on steroids and is a real sleeper!

Superchips Flashpaq Tuner Reviews

2003 ford ranger

Reviewed By Ryan J (MCALLEN, TX) Reviewed for a 2003 Ford Ranger —8/24/2015 8:48 PM

Tuner was easy to install and showed results fast! I use it on the performance mode and use it as a daily driver. I also installed a k&n cold air intake and overalls I've gone 3mpg more then the stock mode. And that's because I also installed 33's Cooper STT Pro's MT. Overall very satisfied with my purchase and I would recommend it to everyone!

Hypertech Speedometer Calibrator Reviews

Does as Advertised

Reviewed By Chad M (Midlothian, TX) Reviewed for a 2015 Ford F-150 —8/15/2015 8:16 AM

It calibrated my speedometer since I put larger tires on. It takes trial and error. Just because you put 35" tires on doesn't mean you just set this to 35". You have to test it. I have 34" tires. Had to set this thing to 32.5" for the speedo to be accurate. Unfortunately, this is my only option at this time since the tuners are unable to calibrate the 2015 F-150 at this time. Dealership wanted the same price as this calibrator for a one time change. Good product.
