It I fairly new install on my 2007 Chevy 2500 Classic but so far I think very highly of it. Power increase is very noticeable and I pulled my 5th wheel on a short trip and had increase of mileage of almost 3MPG. It was an easy drive, almost flat terrain, but still I have taken the same trip before so it is a definite increase. I am set on performance tune-afraid to try extreme-maybe too much power for my stock truck. I may try the tow tune next trip and see if there is a difference.

Had trouble with install and little info on instructions. Bully Dog was closed when I programmed my truck and truck would not start. No details for that on their website. Had to unhook battery and reset truck again. I can see an slight increase in fuel economy and my truck used to down shift going up hill and now it doesn't. Seems to be an ok product but I would not buy again for a gas vehicle. Tuner seems to no work well with the towing switch on my Chevy when used at the same time.

I have seen an increase from 14-15 mpg driving 60ish to 18-22mpg driving 60ish, the power that I tested is incredible, I usually drive for performance rather than hard core power but if some one prompts me at a stop light then good luck to them as they watch my 6.6 duramax diesel 2500 truck leave them where they started. Extremely glad I made the purchase of the Bully Dog programer

I had no problem installing the bully dog tuner. The only thing I can say is the mpg didn't improve at all seen some inprovment in power not as much as I would have liked. Haven't pulled my fifth wheel with it yet but will see after that.

Purchased the bully dog 40415 GT for my 2012 5.3 silverado. I knew before buying the tuner not to exspect any neck breaking difference, although I could tell a very acute increase in ease to accelerate from about 25-50mph at 1/4 to 1/2 throttle. The instillation was straight forward, only issue I had was finding a key on fuse to tap into for power. Went to auto zone and bought a fuse tap and test light, found a key on fuse and finished install.

Easy install. Drill a small hole through blank above brake pedal. Connect to key operated fuse. From 12.7 to 17 to 21 average mpg @ 65 mph. Better shifting..cooler turbo..will pay for itself in 2.5 months. 3rd Dodge Ram with Bully Dog. Flawless update and install. Love it!

I will be honest and say I didn't have high expectations. I bought this to mainly help with gas mileage as I drive about 2,500 miles a month. Before installation, my city driving was 14 mpg, and highway was about 17-17.5. After installation, I noticed economy mode was giving me worse mileage and I got the best mileage with Extreme mode. With A LOT of help from the driving coach, my mileage is now 16.5 in the city, and 20-21 on the highway. Not a huge difference, but every little bit helps.

The item seems pretty flimsy, as its extremely small and just a light weight plastic. However, I would assume you aren't going to move it much. I got this thing to help me monitor those travel days as well as for that extra HP. This does great on coach mode if you follow it, average about 18 mpg in my 2009 Titan Pro4X, with its 5.6l. Not too bad for a V8 and a truck that weighs nearly 7000lbs.
