A Little Disappointed

Reviewed By Charles R (RICHARDSON, TX) Reviewed for a 2016 Chevy Colorado —2/14/2017 5:13 AM

Taking from some of the information I found on a few other reviews and articles, I was hoping the Max Energy 2.0 would resolve the "chuggle and hesitation" on my truck (a known problem that GM will not or can not fix). While it did help on the city driving issues, the highway speed hesitation is still a problem. The programmer is pretty easy to use if you read the instructions first and follow the on-screen instructions. I like the five program option. I currently have two loaded.

Disappointing-2011 GMC Sierra 1500 SLT 5.3L

Very little, if any change in power in normal driving. I have tried both 87 and 91 octane tunes with appropriate fuel. Same with gas mileage, maybe a 0.2 to 0.4 tenths increase. Definitely not the 16 and 28 HP gains promised.
