This device does exactly what is advertised to do. I haven't seen my 2015 Tahoe drop down to V4 with it plugged in. It keeps it in V8 mode all day long. Just plug it in under the dash and forget about it.

I ran this on setting 2 of 4 because I could use 88 octane. The throttle response and tranny shift was better but it kept shifting down constantly with minimal amount of throttle. I had to put 91 octane in to run setting 3(Tow Mode)but I love how it runs and it isn't constantly shifting down anymore. I have a fast Duramax so this stock rig was painful to get use to being it was so slow but the edge chip changed all that and I now love this Tahoe. I gained a second from 55 mph to 75 mph, going from 6 seconds to 5 seconds.
