Good tuner for the money

Good for the price. Performance program set theft mode when installed, but quick call to excellent tech support got me going! Power gains are definitely noticeable with performance and light tow programs as are improved shifts. Mileage gains with normal driving are questionable at this point. However in all fairness I have yet to upgrade exhaust (a must when adding fuel from tuners if you want longevity and top performance from tuners) and compressor wheel (to eliminate surge). Would buy again.

You basically plug into the tuning port and and follw the instructions on the android tablet as it records your engine & transmission settings. Use the android tablet to put in whatever program you want and it's done. It was so easy a girl could do it....lol...Anyway it claims to give an extra 100 plus horsepower. I didn't put it on a dyno before and after but the performance tune gave it amazing quickness a very noticeable improvement in power. It was well worth the price to me. Haven't tried any of the other tunes yet. I'm still having too much fun with the performance tune.
Easy and versital

This Cortex is great! I installed it on my 2002 F350 7.3 and could tell it shifted different and was saving me some diesel. I love it that you can download the latest program. I use it on my diesel for weekend four wheeling and then return it to stock and use it on my Mustang during the week.
