Pleased as Punch

I had used the Hypertech chip in a previous car with good results, so I figured I'd try the programmer. My 2009 Ford Flex was a bit of a dog and the fuel economy was poor for the 3.5 six cyl at around 16mpg. Using just the basic tuning and setting it to 'regular' gas, I am now averaging 19mpg with about 2 solid weeks of testing. In addition, the car gets up and moves noticeably more than before. I can't quote HP, but there is no more wind-up of the engine before a speed increase and it shifts more firmly. The exhaust is of course louder which the factory keeps quiet on purpose by stripping away HP. Anyway, I'm please as punch. I'll get back the $300 in about 6 months based on the new economy and the added power is priceless.
