After installing the hypertech max energy programmer I did notice an increase in power and have increased in fuel economy by 2 to 3 miles per gallon. I changed the shift firmness 25% and this made a big difference. Overall, it's good, but not great in increasing power. I wish Hypertech would give you more instructions on what level to increase or decrease shift points for towing and non-towing.

I had some problems programming because of a CAL not found error. After emailing tech support with the calibration number that wasn't supported, I didn't expect an email for a few days. To my surprise it was less than a day for a response and the engineers had an update ready for me by the second day. All went well except I found out later that it works better(more power) with your factory mass air flow sensor than aftermarket MAF's which have caused pinging and check engine lights with other customers. I'll be swapping my Granatelli out for my factory piece I kept and hopefully get even more power.

After figuring out that you have to download stuff off the internet in order to get it to work in my truck, it was a piece of cake to install. I've noticed an increase of power just in my everyday driving but havent had it out on the highway yet. Still toying with the settings to find the best one. Overall I am satisified with this product so far.
