I bought this to hopefully gain fuel economy, and to tune for higher octane to hopefully achieve this. My last car was a subaru and with high octane gas I gained around 5mpg's and was absolutely worth the extra cost. With my jeep it isnt, its tuned for 87 so i hope to change this. I could change it and it made no difference whatsoever. I had used all the economy modes and no difference at all. I really cant not tell the difference between a tune and the stock tune. So, i should have just put 320$ in my gas tank. Good luck, I hear it works for a lot of people and i am starting to become skeptical of any of these claims.
Should have been my very first purchase after getting my Jeep

It is without a doubt the best purchase I have made for my Jeep. Programming is easy, on screen instructions, perfect. I grew up owning & driving standard vehicles. My current Jeep Commander is an automatic, I just don't like automatics. Shifting all the time, at the wrong times, just torques me. Well not only can you tune the vehicles power levels, but you can also connect the Flashpaq to the net and buy/download the additional shift point programming. I started with the SC standard shift pattern, then after monitoring throttle position, RPM's, engine load, using the flashpaq, I started tweeking the shift points for my own drive. Changes the entire characteristic's of the Jeep now. Its still an auto, but shifting is much better now. One happy driver. Oh, and there is much more this thing will do also.
