No more split personality for my truck

I joked with my wife that my truck didn't know if it wanted to be a 4 cylinder or 8. I have a 2014 silverado 5.3 with active fuel management and to tell you the truth it just didn't feel like i think a v8 truck should. After doing research i found the range disabler device. It was a decent price and i didn't have to reprogram my computer control module. Now my truck feels like a powerful v8. Beware though that power equals fuel, no way around that. fuel mileage will drop.

The Hypertech tuner required an online update prior to installation. It was easy to update, but would be helpful to know prior to purchase. Some noticeable power gains and shift firmness. Will have to drive a while before I can comment on the fuel mileage increase. I have used this product with another one of my vehicles. On an F250 superduty with a 6.8 v-10. I saw a 3 mpg increase on highway mileage. No increase in city mileage.

this programer lives up to what it advertises. Haven't had it for long but the performance is amazing. Robert at Brian's truck shop put the tow tune in my truck and the first tank of fuel I was getting 2 miles per gallon more. And the truck run a lot better. GREAT JOB!!!
