No more split personality for my truck

I joked with my wife that my truck didn't know if it wanted to be a 4 cylinder or 8. I have a 2014 silverado 5.3 with active fuel management and to tell you the truth it just didn't feel like i think a v8 truck should. After doing research i found the range disabler device. It was a decent price and i didn't have to reprogram my computer control module. Now my truck feels like a powerful v8. Beware though that power equals fuel, no way around that. fuel mileage will drop.

The Hypertech tuner required an online update prior to installation. It was easy to update, but would be helpful to know prior to purchase. Some noticeable power gains and shift firmness. Will have to drive a while before I can comment on the fuel mileage increase. I have used this product with another one of my vehicles. On an F250 superduty with a 6.8 v-10. I saw a 3 mpg increase on highway mileage. No increase in city mileage.

I installed the Stage 2 Jet chip into Jeep, iv got a, Throttle body spacer, Magnaflow open exhaust, k&N CAI, 180 degree thermostat installed... And I have yet to feel a difference at all. It was a bit of a pain to install even though its just a unbolt plug in bolt up. I had like three different plastic pieces come apart on the chip. After the install the Jeep felt the same, thankfully no trouble codes. The only thing I could maybe say feels different is the shift points (its automatic).
