Alot better throttle response

This programmer was in addition to the K&N cold air intake and a dual Flowmaster exhaust. The truck was pretty responsive with the first two modifications, but things really came alive with the programmer. I can't speak to any improvement to the mileage since it has only been installed for a week or so, but I am also from the school of thought that you buy this type of stuff for the performance, not the economics. I personally expect a dramatic decrease in mileage since my foot seems to be a lot heavier now. As far as installation...it took a little longer than HyperTech claimed. Apparently I needed to upgrade the software for the programmer for my particular truck. I had to go to the computer and download the upgrade. Even though this was an extra step, it was VERY easy. Overall, it was a great choice to install the programmer. I would buy it again without hesitation. If you do go with the programmer, also buy an upgraded thermostat. They do not make one for the 2008 Dakota yet so I am not at the full potential of what it has to offer yet.
