I have installed the edge programmer a little over two weeks ago and there is a very noticeable difference when it comes to power. The extreme setting which requires 91+ octane gives it a noticeable boost. I have not had a chance to really test out the fuel economy setting yet as being in a northern state and suffering through winter, the vehicle sits and warms up more than anything else. I probably wont really get an accurate read on this setting for another month or two. Definitely would recommend if you are in the market for increasing power.

i try it in my f 150 and it chang a lot, clear codes and really runs great, faster, and gas milleage im just working on it jejeje cause now im driving with all gas on...i just need to try in the srt8 but i thing it will be awsome jejeje.

After looking around for quite some time I decided to start with the CTS Evolution Programmer from AutoAnything. The main reason I went with Edge was for the gauges. I plan to later go with a custom tailored chip and still use the CTS as the gauges. Before I installed the Edge programmer I was getting 14 mpg. with my 7.3L PowerStroke now with the programmer on level 2 I am getting 18 mpg. The one thing I would like to see improved it the shifting on level 2. Level one shifts great and has nice power but fuel mileage is down as compared to level two. If I could just figure out how to get the shifting of level one and the fuel savings of level 2 I would have the perfect set up. An economy tune for the 7.3L would be nice too.

The hardest thing to do installing this product was to find the right fuse in the fusebox that only came on with the key. Other than that it was a breeze. It plugs right in to the port, run the wire, hide the wires, mount to the windshield and turn it on. The screen is bright and ledgible. The mount to the winshield is the best I've ever seen...doesn't rock or move or flop up and down on bumpy highways. you can definitely tell a difference in the improvement in performance. I haven't had it long enough to tell a big difference in mileage, but I can definitely see my guage not going down quite so fast. Love the different settings. The fuel saving driving coach is really cool. You will love this!

I purchased this for my Ford F-150. It makes a welcomed and in my opinion necessary improvement in driveability of the truck. Transmission shifts more deliberate (not hard), acceleration greatly improved, and MPG goes up. Made me wonder why Ford does not program the CPU from the factory that way. I run my programmed using option 2. The programmer is a bit pricey but buying on sale at Auto Anything and just the overall improvement in acceleration and mpg makes it worth the money. I had a cold air intake on the truck with spacer plate which did nothing, in fact I felt it hurt performance. To install the programmer I removed the cold air intake as per Edges Tech Service. No regrets with the programmer. Highly recommended.
