Superchips Performance Chips Reviews

I've only used it in the mileage mode so far but I went from 14 to 17!! I've got a 02 Silverado 1500 4x4 with the 4.8 and it already had all the other goodies installed: cat bak exhaust, cold air filter system, electric fan and headers. I was trying to get back to the 18mpg I once attained when I first bought. That was before my tire size went from 26" (stock) to 33"!! I knew that would hurt the mpg but hey that's the price you pay for cool!! Anyway, the other stuff I installed help gat the power and torque back but not so much on the mpg. Superchips makes THE BEST tuner out there I've always heard but now I KNOW!! And AutoAnything was selling it for $335 and free shipping!! WAY WAY less than anyone else. YOU GUYS ROCK, THANKS!!!!!

Extremely easy to use & noticable increase in throttle response/HP. I have a smaller V-8 so I'm always looking for ways to squeeze out every last drop of HP possible w/o breaking the bank, & while it's a great mod to add to your truck it's not the final solution...there's always something else you can tweak or add for a bit more power & speed. I will say that it's like driving a totally different truck. Stop comparing websites, prices, brands, etc & just get it...you know you want it or you wouldn't be reading this! It'll be there in a few days, you'll be like a little kid on Christmas day, & best of all you can start looking for other ways to beef up your ride. Later

You basically plug into the tuning port and and follw the instructions on the android tablet as it records your engine & transmission settings. Use the android tablet to put in whatever program you want and it's done. It was so easy a girl could do it....lol...Anyway it claims to give an extra 100 plus horsepower. I didn't put it on a dyno before and after but the performance tune gave it amazing quickness a very noticeable improvement in power. It was well worth the price to me. Haven't tried any of the other tunes yet. I'm still having too much fun with the performance tune.
