I thought the service from Autoanything waqs great, really fast efficient delivery of all 4 items delivered, which included the Venom 400, Volant air induction, and front and back Bushwhacker flairs. The air induction didn't fit initially, but a call to Volant and a new throttle body stud solved the problem. The flairs went on last night--the back fit better than the front--I'll probably take the fronts off and see if I can redo them to get rid of the gap.
Now to the Venom 400, it was easy to install, directions were clear. I attached all leads BEFORE connecting cable to computer. Even with the unit switched off, it apparently was putting out a signal to the main computer that the truck was at full throttle, neadly to say what resulted was a smoke machine. Two days and $200 dollars later the dealer had the mess cleaned up by disconnecting the wires and cleaning the plugs, etc. After 600 miles of highway driving its beginning to run normal again. I called Venom's tech support, but they were not of much help--I got IDONNO, and I guess you could send it in and we'll put it on the bench and test it. At this point I'm not sure what I will do, but most likely test Autoanything's customer service and try to reture it and get a programmer instead.
