Our pets may fill us with joy and companionship, but they also fill our cars with fur, drool and the occasional accident. In order to protect your interior from the fallout of driving around with your furry friend, defend your upholstery with the Motor Trend Dog Seat Protector.
Like adding a second layer of upholstery over your existing seats, the Motor Trend Dog Seat Protector bears the brunt of your canine’s calamities. Not only does it catch hair and slobber, but it also keeps their nails from gouging your leather and cloth seats, especially when Rex decides to dig at the imaginary bone inside your cushion.
Universally sized to fit a wide range of cars, trucks and SUVs, your Motor Trend Dog Seat Protector comes in multiple sizes for both bucket and bench seats. For maximum durability and a shift-free installation, it’s made from polyester canvas and lined with an anti-slip mesh. Plus, you can pick colors to match or accent your interior, and it’s backed by a 1-year warranty.

Very happy with it, it is so easy to put on and doesn't slide around. Its a ittle big for my little prius C seat but it doesn't move so you can't really tell. I am about to order another one for my seat cause I am so happy with it!!

I have a new 2013 Scion FRS and I was afraid I wouldn't be able to find something that would fit and protect from my 40 lb. Catahoula working dog. The cover fits GREAT. The adjustable strap that goes over the headrest helps. I did add a strip of industrial Velcro to the bottom edge to keep it from sliding up. A Catahoula is a high energy animal. More color selections would be nice. The tan looks OK, but the car has a black interior. The heavy duty material and quilting looks nice.

I spent over 2 hours on the internet looking for seat covers for my new 2013 Honda Fit with side airbags. I have 2 dogs. This seemed like the best choice. Installation was easy, the protection and quality is excellent.

Recently purchased the PetEgo Dog Seat Protector and am very pleased with the product. We have a 90 lb Lab who likes to dig into to his cushions and the strapping around the headrest and neoprene fasts under the seat corners keep this in place. The cushion is substantial, not at all flimsy and I expect it will hold up well. My only wish would have been for the addition of a long strap to further anchor the back of the seat cover from end to end. There are two receiving end plastic buckles that when not used to fasten a non head rest could be adapted for a tighter fit around. Short story, I would recommend this product.

I purchased the seat protectors by PetEgo and am satisfied with them. I have a 2011 Forester and the front seat cover fits just like in the picture. However, the back seat cover doesn't fit quite so well. The elastic stabilizers that are supposed to fit along the bottom corners, well, don't. My little buddy is active, about 24 lbs., but has not been able to dislodge the covers at all. They are easy to put on and to take off. I am pleased with these seat covers.

Are the front seat covers only offered to fit the passenger seat or both seats in front?
Answered by Elizabeth C. — Jul 16, 2012 11:53 AM
Hello Pet Lover. The front seat covers are a universal size and can fit most standard bucket seats. The cover should fit on the driver's side as well as the passenger's, although universal sizes are not 100% guranteed for perfect fit. Thank you for your question.

Is the seat protector is waterproof? If it is, I’ll certainly purchase one.
Answered by Elizabeth C. — Jun 22, 2012 12:29 PM
Hello, I found out the item is not going to be completely waterproof but, but it is highly water resilient. The Motor Trend Dog Seat Protector has antiskid material on the bottom that will help to soak up the spill/water. Thank you for your question.
