Perfect ride for my bichon frise!

Reviewed by Christina T (KINGSPORT, TN) Reviewed for a 2013 Honda CR-V — Apr 11, 2013 1:54 PM

I love this as much as my bichon does! The only complaint I had was that the clip provided was too large to keep my little dog secured in the seat but no biggie - I had a small one to replace it so all is well! I definitely recommend this to all small dog owners!

My dog doesn't sit still but when I bought this seat she did and so did the other one. They love the fact the can look out the window enjoy the sun beating on them. The harness hook after a minute putting them in gave them a silent command to sit in the chair because they can't jump out. She and he slept confortable, watch the view without the need to be on my lap. You and put a small blanket in for them to snooze I love it and they did also.i only bought one but I am getting another.

The seat was easy to install. Our 7 mo. Yorkie was able to see out my Sienna minivan window which makes him happy. We had to buy a different clip that attaches to his halter because the one provided was too large, and it needed to swivel so he wouldn't choke himself when he tried to turn around in the seat.

Easy to put in place. Comfortable material. He can now see out the window. After a few days, he learned to jump right into it.

Overall it is a good product however it should include better padding and most importantly a longer strap to go around wider seats

I just got a new car with leather seats and I did not want my dogs nails scratching them. This is the perfect solution, she loves it becuase she can see out the windows and she can even lay down to take a nap on longer road trips. Installation was a breeze, I highly recommend!

The seat came just like the photo shows. I'm a widow with a small 5 lb. dog...that's my limit for lifting since I have multipul fractures in my spine. The seat was easy for me to install, and Teddi learned right away that his place was in his seat and not on mom's lap anymore. The safety factor alone is worth the price. Teddi loves looking out now, and is able to see dogs walking with their owners; before, he had a hard time seeing them. The seat is really very well made, sturdy, and has a washable lining. I'm really glad I bought it. Joanne

I had asked the question about my 23 pound shih tzu cross fitting into the Krugo Skybox Dog Booster Seat. I am really encouraged that you say he will be able because he weighs 23 pounds but I know he certainly is much larger than the Yorkie in the picture so he may possibly fill up the seat and be uncomfortable. My concern now is if it doesn't fit, I will know immediately, and I will want to return it. Will there be a restocking fee? Thank you for you help.

Hi, The booster seat is returnable but unfortunately there is a 15% restocking fee if returned. It seems like the Kurgo Tru-Fit Smart Dog Harness might be a better option for you.

Hi, we have a 23 pound shih tzu cross (with a larger breed). I have tried to get his sitting measurements and they are close to the ones of this booster seat. Because of his size to you think we could use this or should we consider a different type of restraint in our Subaru Forester?

Hi, The booster will hold up to 30 lbs so weight won't be an issue. Compare the measurements to your pup to be sure though. 12" D x 16" W x 8" H

Hello Nettie. The Kurgo Booster seat buckles onto seats with or without headrests, and the straps are adjustable to fit any seat. The included instructions include three steps (one of them being "put dog in harness") so it is fairly simple. There are also detailed instructions as to putting together the box itself.
