Change your labrador’s latitude and let him lounge away the long hauls in the Kurgo Wander Dog Hammock. Not only does the Wander Hammock from Kurgo span and protect your entire rear-seat area, it treats your pooch to miles of resort style living!
When your payload goes from pets to people, the Wander Hammock quickly converts to a regular seat cover. Or, unzip the center for a hammock/seat cover combo that accommodates pets and people. Plus, the Velcro closures allow seatbelt access and child seat use.
Crafted of PVC-backed polyester, the Kurgo Hammock is waterproof, stain-resistant and machine washable. Plus, the special anti-microbial fabric repels dirt and moisture. That means claws, crud, fur and “accidents” never reach your seats.
Along with the 55” wide x 56” long Hammock, Kurgo includes a matching utility bag and a water bottle to fortify Fido everywhere you go. Plus, you choose the black or khaki color scheme, both with orange trim. And best yet, Kurgo backs your Wander Dog Hammock with a 1-year warranty.

The way that it works is great. The fabric smells terribly. I wondered it the smell was toxic in any way. I hung it outside over a clothes line for 3 days and there is still some smell. It is not as it was but it is still there. I would not have bought it if I had known. Susan Rodd

We love it. It's a little tricky fitting it to my f-150 truck, but took my dog out the other day and she liked it. I also like the fact I can keep things on the floor of the truck without it being seen above the hammock. That's a good security thing.

Transporting the dog was the one drawback that concerned us about trading in our small SUV for a sedan - particularly since we wanted leather seats for the people to sit on. This product is actually a replacement for another product which did not work nearly as well. This one is easy to install and remove, and the included bag (that's not just a plastic bag) is a nice touch. Highly recommended.

The hammock was simple to install and our German Shepard loves it. Also is great for putting groceries in as it won't allow them to fall off the seat. Would recommend this one.

Was impressed with the hammock but the stitching in the strap that goes over the headrest came out. Doesn't hold the hammock up. Had one from another product that I replaced this with so I replaced it with this. Great for keeping my back leather seats clean. My dogs ride with me every day so this is saving the leather.

I have a 120lb Newfador who loves the car but is hard on dog hammocks. Before I purchased the Kurgo he had already ripped apart two (not from chewing, just from his weight and his movement in the back seat). So far the Kurgo has been great. It's obviously much better made than my previous two though it was comprable if not cheaper in price.

Will this item allow access to the seatbelt buckle to attach a pet harness to?
Answered by Manuel A. — Feb 07, 2013 4:25 PM
Thanks for your answer but let me re-phrase my question. I guess what I need to know is if it will let me buckle-up/connect a pet harness that attaches directly to the buckles in the middle of the seat. Is there a slit in the cover to allow this access to the buckles in the center of the seat? I don't need to use the shoulder belts for this harness application. Thanks!

Hi Manuel, You should be able to access the shoulder belts from the side of the hammock

I have gone though so many pet covers and wasted so much money. I like the reviews that I have been reading. I have 5 dogs, weighting in from 38 lbs up to 90 lbs. My question is: Will this item work in my car?

Hello. The Kurgo hammock is very tough, and will definitely fit in your Kia Soul. Thank you for your question.

Hello Trevor. Yes, you can wash this pet cover with water and detergent; use either a hose or if it fits, a washer. Afterwards, hang to dry. Thank you for your question.
