One of the few products that you do not have to assemble. It rotates easily under the vehicle. I installed this on my 2013 Toyota Highlander and it worked perfectly. I had to coax the dog to use it but once she figured it out she used it every time. I would definitely recommend it. Regular shipping arrived the same week. It is handy for stepping up to the roof rack to load and unload.

Meets and exceeds my expectations after receiving the step and using it. Also works great as a step for me to use when washing the top and back of the Jeep Cherokee.

I have a Newfoundland dog that recently had a TPLO. She has recovered and this step is great for her getting into and out of our SUV. It saves my back and her legs. Great Product and received it within in couple of days of ordering.

Great product. Very easy to put together and very easy to train dog to use it. Minor negative is that this site did not carry the correct lock for hitch step so I needed to purchase it from from another site.

This took 10 minutes to install in my new 2012 Forester. Works great. This step does hang down even in the stored position. Therefore you lower your rear ground clearance. So I'm planning on taking off when not in use and storing in spare tire well. As long as I put a wrench with it I can have it ready to use in a snap. If you're a city/suburb dweller I'd leave it on. For those of us rural you'd bottom it with it if left on continuously.

Easy to install. Good quality materials. I use mine on a Land Rover Discovery and it works great! My 75 pound Aussie jumps right up and down, didn't even need training. I leave it twisted "open" most of the time because there isn't much traffic where I live, but, I could easily close it. Highly recommend this product! Wish I would have found it last year.

I have 4 large dogs, the biggest being a 146# Rottweiler. He has bad hips and elbows. When he uses the step, he can enter and exit without the added pressure on those joints, making him more comfortable overall. With my Escape, together the back end and bumper are higher up, thus getting in and out of the back is easier for myself as well. This is a good investment for my pets, and I would encourage my clients to purchase as well. Valerie, DVM

Easy to train my 2 huskies to use (literally took a couple of minutes). Putting it together was easy. We purchased a locking mechanism from the recommended carrier and you need a tool & key to remove the unit. I wouldn't recommend driving through a car wash with the step attached (so it would nice if it could be easily removed). Very substantial product that will really help me transport my dogs. Recommend this product.

For our Subaru Outback this is a little big. Also, the adapter to the larger hitch size needs to be adjustable with an additional screw hole to move it further into the hitch. The column is really tall and it seems like it could be shorter to fit more vehicles. Might be a bit heavy for some users as well. Probably works much better on an SUV.

This product is perfect for pets. I considered a ramp but did not want to take up cargo space & have to drag it in & out of the suv every time I load my furry angels. I was concerned though that neither of my 4 dogs would step up and then into the suv. One of them has spine problems and recently was a university & I did not want to hurt her back getting in & out. Each dog used it the first time without hesitation both entering and exiting. Two of my dogs are too heavy for me to lift so it has not only helped my dogs but me also. I recommend the lock for it also. It is a perfect fit and no chance of theft. The Twistep is easy to use and it was easy to mount to the hitch. I highly recommend. It makes a nice little table to water my pets. It also is easy for me to get in & out of the cargo area using it as a step.
