Description

Your great great grandma took pride in covering every piece of furniture in her house with thick, crinkly plastic. But times have changed and chances are Dean Martin’s not going to drop by and ask for a ride to Applebee’s anytime soon. Instead of hiding your entire cockpit under seat covers, get pinpoint protection with the Kurgo Shorty Bench Seat Cover. Your Gam Gam would approve.

Instead of overpowering your interior, the Kurgo Shorty Bench Cover fits over your bottom cushion and rides just a bit up the back—not enough to hide your ride’s hot look. Once in place, it blocks everything from dirty pet paws to fumbled ice cream cones. When it does get dirty, this pet cover pulls out easily and fits right in your home washing machine for quick cleaning.

Unlike those chintzy covers that are nothing more than glorified beach towels, this Kurgo Seat Cover is expertly crafted for maximum durability. Its piped edges help trap dirt and the double-stitched seams fight off tears. Plus, it sports built-in cargo pockets to help keep your cockpit organized and comes with a 1-year warranty.

Overwhelming chemical smell

Reviewed by Marcy S (Pasadena, CA) — Feb 27, 2014 12:30 AM

After opening the box, I left the Kurgo seat cover slung over a chair in the kitchen/dining room overnight. The chemical smell in the large room next morning was overpowering. The seat cover has been airing out on the patio ever since...and may for life. I can't imagine it in the car. It also seems to be too big for the seat and the cinches don't make sense.

Certainly will protect seat for long time but dog and other items go flying. Not nice for people to sit on

Seat Cover.

I used this seat cover more for my kids than my dog, seat cover fit my vehicle a 2013 CX-9 just a little snug. Wish it was a little bigger. But it works just fine. I would buy again, it helps out a lot to save my seats.

Love the seat cover the only issue is that it's a tad bit large for my car and there are not any clips to hold it down under the seat. other wise the fit is good and is holding up well. I would buy it again.

The seat cover works great. Once in a while I have to pull the corner down as it wants to ride up as our dog jumps in. Our dog weighs 140#. All in all it works just fine.

The cover is sturdy and easy to install. It is not a perfect fit but it does not slip off the seat like the blankets and sheets that i have used in the past.

Ok for what I paid

Doesn't 'quite' fit my Honda Pilot seat very well but was a cheap way for me to protect my leather from my pups. Had a VERY strong chemical smell when I first took it out of the box.

Good fit, good material, nice to have it return up the seat back a little bit, rather than all the way up. Accommodates the seat belt buckles and works great with two booster seats. We have tan seats and this blends in a little more subtle.

Not as nice as we needed

On leather seats, the cover slides around. We put rug underlayment under it and it seemed to help. However, for our car, the product was not as nice as we needed it to be. Functional, though.

Kurgo Shorty seat cover not just for dogs

We don't have a dog, but kids. All kinds of crumbs and gooey, sticky stuff can end up under their car seats. I was using a towel to cover the back seat, but of course, it doesn't stay in place. Found this Kurgo seat cover and thought it would work and it did. We are a satisfied customer.
