I have two labs, one of which likes to try and crawl into my lap while I'm driving. So when I say this thing is a lifesaver, I mean it literally. No longer do I have to take my eyes off of the road to get my dog under control. Love this. I will be buying it for any vehicle I own.

This product didn't fit our seats, as the straps weren't long enough to reach the head rests. However, the loop/latch system is pretty clever so that you can remove the barrier, but leave the loops to reconnect it quickly. Also, it ended up working out for us anyway because we could loop 1 seat, and put the seats down, which kept the barrier in place. It comes with 3 metal rods that go into the barrier, but these were unnecessary for our 15 and 25 pound dogs.

Easy to install, works great at keeping my Airdale Terrier's out of the front of my truck. And it looks good, so I just leave it in all the time, don't even take it down.

The product itself is fine, especially for smaller dogs. For medium plus dogs they can climb over the sides next to the door. I considered the bars to solve that issue but my newer(not new) car has headrest DVD screens so that doesn't work either that I can figure out. Then again, most front seat covers don't work either running down through the post of the headrest and seats. I drive my cars until they wear out and try to protect them, but I am new at the dog thing having had cats before.

I like the barrier it was light weight and would have been great if it fit. It did not have enough length at the top loop to fit in my rav 4 from head rest to head rest. having said that, it was easy to put together.

Because of the center console, it doesn't fit well in a Subaru outback. I installed it, but the fit is awkward, and my standard poodle discovered she could still jump over it.
