Canvasback Custom Cargo Liners Reviews

2010 Honda Fit Sport

Reviewed By Michael S (Columbus, OH) Reviewed for a 2010 Honda Fit —6/8/2011 5:43 AM

I purchased the canvas back cover because I have a dog and store my golf clubs in my car. I just bought my new Honda Fit and I wanted to keep it clean. I was always messing with a sheet to keep the cargo area from getting muddy. The canvas works great. It took about 2 minutes to install and looks really good in the car. However, the price for this item is way too much. Unfortunately, there are no other similar products out there that protect the cargo area like this canvas material. If you are crafty, I would suggest making your own. However, if you don't have the time or skills like me, this is your next best option - just expect to shell out over a hundred dollars. One thing to note, the canvas material does not completely cover the back seats. There is a small portion up by the headrests that go uncovered. Not a big deal since my dog doesn't seem to walk way up there (since the seats are angled, he can't really put his paws there). However, with dogs that shed a lot, this will likely be an annoyance.

Kurgo Cargo Cape Reviews

Durable

The velcro that attaches the cape to the truck is is fairly strong and keeps the mat from sliding around, yet you can still peel it off if you need to readjust. The straps that hook the cape to the headrest are just extra reassurance but they hardly get strained.

Canine Cargo Liner

Bought a dark color to go with dark interior of my Outback and it looks great. It was very expensive, but seems to be well made and time will tell if it holds up to dog claws. Not much traction, but that's the price of having water repellent material. First day I had it, my dogs jumped in the car after 'swamping' and the water beaded up on the fabric. After drying, the dirt vacuumed up easily. Clearly custom made for my model, fits perfect with straps in all the right places to secure it.
