Installation challenge on TJ Wrangler w/ backseat removed.

Reviewed By ROBERT A (Safford, AZ) Reviewed for a 2003 Jeep Wrangler —12/15/2016 10:01 AM

I found that even with the optional extension, my medium size pitbull was able to crawl under it and get in the front seat between the botton and the floor due to the forward position of the console. Works okay if installed upside down, but I solved the problem by attaching an accessory bag on the bottom third to fully block entry by the dog. Quality is fine, but you may keep that in mind in case you are planning to install where the partition is not up against the front or back seats.

Best floor mats I have ever purchased! Bought front set, middle set, and cargo area mats and the fit is unmatched. Have bought other brands in the past but Weathertech is on a whole nother level. Thanks AutoAnything!

PortablePET Twistep Dog Hitch Step Reviews

Really Helpful

Reviewed By Leslie G (MONTEREY, CA) Reviewed for a 2006 Jeep Wrangler —8/4/2016 6:57 AM

My puppy was hesitant to jump in and out of the back of my Jeep Wrangler. He is a "giant" dog breed and he was getting too heavy for me to pick up. Besides, giant breeds just don't like to jump very much anyway. The Twiststep was the perfect solution and he uses it without hesitation. I took one star off because I keep banging my shins on the step when it is in its "stored" position and I'm loading or unloading stuff out of the back. Annoying, yes, but it's worth it 'cuz it really helps my dog.
