Those spinning plates whirling around on the front of your engine don’t just power your water pump and turn your crankshaft—they steal away the raw power your motor is generating. Take back your lost horsepower with a BBK Underdrive Pulley Set.
Your water pump and alternator eat up the energy that would otherwise turn your tires. BBK Underdrive Pulley Sets reduce the unnecessary speed of these engine accessories, stopping them from siphoning off power. This easy upgrade translates into an average boost of 8-15 horsepower!
BBK has spent the last 2 decades souping-up street machines, and they forge their experience right into your Underdrive Pulley Set. Each piece is custom designed to maximize your performance. And, BBK uses computer-driven CNC lathes to carve your Underdrive Pulley Set with precision.
Balancing strength and weight, BBK Underdrive Pulley Sets are made from either polished aluminum or black powder-coated steel. They’re direct factory replacements that mount in about 30 minutes and come with a 1-year warranty.

I am very pleased with the quality and appearance of these UD Pulleys. Installation was easy and provided noticable MPG Gain and smoother idle. A little more pep i the 3k RPM Range.

Install of pulleys went as planned on my 1992 Chevy 5.7 truck. Only on minor problem. The instructions from BBK said the belt required for this kit was 91.5". No way that belt fits. I called BBK and asked them if this pulley set up was on a truck with or with out a/c, I thought this maybe the difference in the belt size. They said that they didn't have a record of the the vehicle that the pulleys were tested on. So, I ended up returning it to my local NAPA store and got one two inches longer and it mounted right up.

After install, I notice a good increase in acceleration and horse power. with my air raid cooled air intake throttle body spacer, full exhaust and a few other mods it makes a great addition. You will not notice a huge difference in performance if this is the only mod you plan on doing to your vehicle, but teamed with the right parts you will definitely feel the performance and power!

So far im loving the pulley's. for $130-160 for atleast a 8hp gain the price is hard to beat. only thing bad i had installing my set was the bolt that goes to the crank pulley was not the correct thread pattern, but that was easy enough to overcome. nice finish too them aswell.

i FOUND A NICE INCREASE IN LOW AND MID-RANGE POWER AFTER INSTALLING. AT FIRST I WAS A LITTLE DISAPPOINTED DUE TO A FRIEND OVER-HYPING WHAT TO EXPECT. BUT ALL-IN-ALL THE PULLEY'S WERE WELL WORTH THE MONEY. **MOREOVER, THEY DO INSTALL IN ABOUT 30 MINS. JOHN TWIN FALLS, ID.
