Install of pulleys went as planned on my 1992 Chevy 5.7 truck. Only on minor problem. The instructions from BBK said the belt required for this kit was 91.5". No way that belt fits. I called BBK and asked them if this pulley set up was on a truck with or with out a/c, I thought this maybe the difference in the belt size. They said that they didn't have a record of the the vehicle that the pulleys were tested on. So, I ended up returning it to my local NAPA store and got one two inches longer and it mounted right up.

After install, I notice a good increase in acceleration and horse power. with my air raid cooled air intake throttle body spacer, full exhaust and a few other mods it makes a great addition. You will not notice a huge difference in performance if this is the only mod you plan on doing to your vehicle, but teamed with the right parts you will definitely feel the performance and power!

jury still out.

it has only been a couple of weeks since i installed a BBK Underdrive Pulley Set on my '95 gmc k1500 w/ 5.0. the jury is still out. their has been a drop on my voltage meter and a rise on my tempreture gauge. neither gauge is pushing into the red but it makes me uneasy. also the size belt they recomended for my application seems too small to me. imho. i also haven't noticed much of a differnce in my mileage or power. granted, i've only put around 400 miles on my truck since the installation so like i said the jury is still out.

i FOUND A NICE INCREASE IN LOW AND MID-RANGE POWER AFTER INSTALLING. AT FIRST I WAS A LITTLE DISAPPOINTED DUE TO A FRIEND OVER-HYPING WHAT TO EXPECT. BUT ALL-IN-ALL THE PULLEY'S WERE WELL WORTH THE MONEY. **MOREOVER, THEY DO INSTALL IN ABOUT 30 MINS. JOHN TWIN FALLS, ID.

After installing the BBK Underdrive Pulley Set the engine runs smoother (especially at idle) and quieter, not that it was rough before. It doesn't wind up as high or loud in first gear, which if what I was looking for. Quick delivery. I'm satisfied with this product.
