I have been a Gates customer for over 50 years with good results. This time I noticed something shiny in the belt. After further investigation, I could see a piece of metal that got caught in the lamination process. I called customer service and they sent me a replacement belt with no further hassles. I hope someone informs Gates Corp. so they can fix this problem.
