Very good quality but lacking locking mechanism

Very good quality. Wish it had a locking mechanism (with a lock like ski racks). Trying to order Thule locking quick release, but have not received it yet, so do not know if it will fit. Turning fork mount is a little difficult to use on Audi Q7 (car very tall), but it can be made to work. Luckily our tandem is light. Mounted so bike is in reverse to allow hatch to open while bike i mounted

Best rack for Subaru aero cross bars

Reviewed By Aaron S (Roseburg, OR) Reviewed for a 2001 Subaru Outback —6/24/2015 8:35 PM

I was seeking a bike rack for my 2001 Subaru Outback limited. I looked at both Yakama, and Thule. Auto Anything listed a Rocky Mounts TieRod. This strong mount looks better and had lock cores for a better price then the other brands on the market today. Auto Anything had excellent service and prompt shipping on my first TieRod that I purchased a second TieRod now I am set up and ready for anybody that wants to go for a ride. I highly recommend Auto Anything for all products available your auto.

So far so good

Reviewed By Joby M (Chino Hills, CA) —6/16/2015 9:53 PM

No problems so far. Very sturdy. I got the 2 locks to make sure that the bike doesn't get stolen, and that the rack itself doesn't get stolen. Looks pretty slick too. Only problem is when I was installing the tire strap in the back, the screws catch on the rack and scratch the paint off so be careful when assembling.
