Solid and looks great, sound is hardly noticeable at 55 mph.

Good quality and great capacity. Our challeng was that the matching "strap hooks" by Rightline did absolutely NOT fit on our Toyota Venza. As we learned this the day of departure, we had to improvise by tying straps to the interior handles on the inside roof of the vehicle. Not ideal! The roof pad also bunched as it slid back from the front of the carrier in travel wind. We were disappointed as Rightline assures the hooks are essentially "universal" in fit, which was NOT true for our vehicle.

This roof rack was excellent for our needs. We avoided having to add a roof rack to a truck with 90,000 miles on it. It's easy to install, very roomy and easy to remove again. It is pretty waterproof as well. The only issue we had, which is expected, it will drip inside your cab if there is a prolonged, drenching rain. I mean, it rained all day and the straps got saturated then the water dripped in. It's probably a very unlikely event. Very happy with the purchase
